Terms and Conditions
FirstCallAI · Effective 5 October 2026
Mason David Ventures L.L.C., doing business as David Legacy Software (“we”, “us”) provides FirstCallAI, an answering service for funeral homes. Effective date: October 5, 2026. Contact: contact@davidlegacysoftware.com.
The service
When you call or text a funeral home that uses FirstCallAI, an automated assistant may answer on the funeral home’s behalf. It can share general information, take a message, and notify the funeral home’s on-call staff. The service is not an emergency service. If someone may still be alive and needs help, call 911.
Text messages (SMS program)
- Program: conversational replies from a funeral home’s answering service, and alerts to the funeral home’s on-call staff. We do not send marketing or promotional messages.
- How you join: you start the conversation by texting the funeral home’s number. We reply in that thread.
- Frequency: messages are replies to your texts, so frequency depends on your conversation.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Stop: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Help: reply HELP, or contact contact@davidlegacysoftware.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Using the service
Do not use the service to harass anyone, to give false information, or for anything unlawful. Information the assistant shares is general. Confirm details such as service times with the funeral home.
No guarantee
The service is provided “as is”. Calls and texts can be delayed or fail, and the assistant can make mistakes. For anything urgent, call the funeral home directly or 911 in an emergency.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy (https://davidlegacysoftware.com/firstcallai/privacy) for how we handle your information.
