Before you publish: this is a working template, not legal advice. Replace every bracketed item with what your app actually does, and delete any section that does not apply. Each app needs its own policy URL if the apps collect different data.

This policy explains how Mason David Ventures L.L.C., trading as David Legacy Software (“we”), handles information in Sanctora, our prayer and Bible study application.

What we collect

We collect only what the app needs to work:

Account information. [Email address and display name, when you create an account.]
Content you create. [Notes, entries, and settings you save in the app.]
Usage and diagnostics. [Crash reports and basic app performance data.]
Purchase records. [Subscription status, received from the App Store or Google Play. We never see your card number.]

What we do with it

We use this information to run the app, keep your content in sync across your devices, answer support requests, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of service providers to operate our apps. [List each one — for example: Supabase for accounts and storage, Stripe for payments, Twilio for telephony, ElevenLabs for speech.] Each provider receives only the information required to do its job.

How long we keep it

We keep your content while your account is open. Delete your account from within the app or email us, and we remove your content within [30] days, except where we are required to keep records for tax or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it deleted. Email privacy@davidlegacysoftware.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
